So now we can extrapolate our previous example on decentralized exchange. Now our scales is smart contract, apples and watermelons is any cryptocurrency, and that side balance is handled with formula.

Imagine that we have pair [1000 EXON - 1000 USDT](https://app.exoncenter.com/swap/exon-usdt). It means that now 1 EXON costs exactly 1 USDT. But what if someone wants to buy EXON for 100 USDT? We need to calculate how much of EXON we need to give him. First, let's count constant product.

**1000 * 1000 = 1000000**

When we need to buy EXON, we gave our 100 USDT to liquidity pool, so now our balance looks like this 1000 EXON - 1100 USDT. Now we need to divide constant product on new value of USDT in pair and it's equals to 

**1000000 / 1100  = 909** 

then we need to take old amount of EXON minus 909, it equals to 91. So, that amount of EXON we should return to one who were bought it for USDT. New pair amounts is 909 EXON - 1100 USDT, let's check it by our constant product formula. 

**909 * 1100  = 1000000**

 Now we can see that amount of USDT in pair is more, so price of EXON went up because of more demand.

Impermanent Loss is the difference between the value of assets when they are normally held (HODL) and when they are held in the liquidity pool. This standard provides six mandatory and three optional (but vital) parameters for any smart contract.

Required parameters include:

What is TRC-20 tokens?

A bit of theory

In any blockchain, the cost of a transaction depends on the amount of information that you want to transfer in one or another way.
